Usborne Review: Sticker Dressing Books

24 pages each + 10 sticker pages. Paperback.

My thoughts: Often we think of sticker books as a cheap, use-once-and-throw-away waste of money. But sticker books actually offer many benefits to young kids - at the top of the list being developing their fine motor skills. It takes quite the effort to peel a sticker off a page without ripping it, and place it exactly where you want it to go!

Usborne sticker books are extra-special in that once all of the stickers have been placed in the book, there is still a bit of a story line that can be read over and over again. Many of the books contain facts about things like culture, fashion, careers, and history.

Books called "Sticker Dressing" tend to be about things like sports, soldiers, and rescue workers, and books called "Sticker Dolly Dressing" are more about princesses, fashion, and weddings.
