My thoughts: Sometimes we think our day is going great, then something happens to upset it all. I chuckled when the bear arrived on the scene. The illustrations in this book are very full of texture, adding interest to an otherwise very simple story. Don't forget to check out the picture on the back flap (where it describes the author).
