NEW Kids Picture Books: Day 26

Where's Will? by Anna Claybourne. Fall 2015.

From Usborne: "Spot William Shakespeare and a selection of his colorful characters from 10 of his best-loved plays! Includes illustrated synopses and search-and-find spreads."

My thoughts: I never took many literature classes in school (I chose the composition classes instead :) so I never had much exposure to the works of Shakespeare. But I know enough of the titles and basic story lines to make this book interesting. For each play there is a two-page spread of the story (illustrated), followed by a two-page spread of picture similar to "Where's Waldo", where you get to find the characters from the play as well as William Shakespeare himself.

The seek and find is fun for kids of any age, plus I could see this book being a great gift for any English teacher or fan of Shakespeare!
