NEW Kids Picture Books: Day 11

Superhero Dad by Timothy Knapman.
April 2016. 24 pages.

From Amazon: "Dad might not have a superhero mask or wear his underwear outside his pants, but his super snores can be heard a thousand miles away, he tells super-funny jokes, and he can even make super-scary monsters go away at bedtime! This vibrant, humorous, and warmhearted celebration of all the incredible things a dad can do is a fun tribute to the specialness of dads (and their superhero children!)."

My thoughts: My daughters keep asking to read this book. It doesn't matter if it's me reading or my husband, they seem to love it. A simple message about how awesome dads are, even doing ordinary things, will make any dad feel special. Great rhyming, bright illustrations, and few words on each page make it appealing to younger kids too.

I had to feature this one today, as it's my husband's birthday, and we all think he's a superhero dad too! :)

Recommended Age: 3-7 years
