From Amazon: "When three friends gather for a playdate, they have to decide: Will they play princess, fairy, or ballerina? It's the perfect setup for a royal, magical, graceful, and very cute standoff, with a delightful (and slightly damp) ending. (We'll say only this: Keep your eye on the frog.) Princess! Fairy! Ballerina! is the perfect book for all the princesses, fairies, and ballerinas in your life!"
My thoughts: My own two girls constantly fight about what to play together. Each one is very opinionated and stubborn and never wants to give in to the other's idea. So we are constantly encouraging them to find a way to compromise.
The style of this book might be a little tricky for kids to follow. It's completely dialogue, though the words themselves are colored to match the girl speaking. It might require pointing out things/people on the pages to help kids follow along the first few times.
Recommended Age: 3-5 years
